WELCOME TO THE
PERRY COUNTY FAMILY CENTER!
The Perry County Family Center strives to be family-friendly and to nurture new partnerships that enhance the effective coordination of services among agencies.
Funding is provided through a state grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.
The primary roles of the Center are to promote the positive development and healthy well being of all young children in Perry County and; to strengthen family life and be the place where all families find information and support to assist them in making decisions about themselves and their children.
The Family Center is governed by the Perry County Family Center, Inc. Governing Board and the Perry County Family Service Partnership Board. The members are representatives from the families served by the center, county government and health offices, local human service agencies, community volunteers, and local school districts.
- Main purpose of these Boards:
- Bring resources to the Board regarding what is available in the community;
- Review and evaluate progress and assess priorities;
- Provide support for solutions to development problems.
